How to Use Recall Type

🧠 What is Recall Type?

Recall Type is a smart memory training tool that helps you memorize answers, scripts, or any text. Instead of showing you the full answer when you're stuck, it reveals hints letter-by-letter or word-by-word - helping you actually remember, not just peek!

➕ Create Set

  1. Click "Create Set"
  2. Add your questions and their answers
  3. Click "+ Add Card" to add more Q&A pairs
  4. Hit "Start Practice" when ready!

📄 Import PDF BETA

  1. Click "Import PDF"
  2. Select your PDF file with Q&A content
  3. Our smart parser will extract questions & answers
  4. Review and edit the extracted cards
  5. Start practicing!

⚠️ PDF import is in beta. Works best with clearly formatted Q&A content.

📝 Import from Notion

  1. Export your Notion page as Markdown
  2. Click "Import Notion"
  3. Select the exported .md or .txt file
  4. Questions & answers will be auto-detected
  5. Review and start practicing!

📂 Load Existing Set

  1. Click "Load Set"
  2. Select a previously saved .json file
  3. Your study set will be loaded instantly
  4. Continue practicing where you left off!

💾 Save/Download Your Set

  1. After creating a set, click "Download Set" button
  2. Your set will be saved as a .json file
  3. Use "Load Set" to import it anytime!

💡 During Practice

  • • Type your answer in the text box
  • • Letter Hint: Reveals one letter at a time
  • • Word Hint: Reveals one word at a time
  • • Show Answer: Reveals the full answer (use sparingly!)
  • • View your accuracy stats at the end of each session

Import from Notion

📲 First, export your Notion page:

Mobile: Tap ⋯ → Share → Export

Desktop: Click ⋯ (top right) → Export

Select format: "Markdown & CSV"

Then tap "Export" and save the file

Look for a file ending with .md

This is your Notion export file
